Acting legend Danny Trejo

Downstairs treated its guests to a special surprise last night at the Saturday Set Takeover Party hosted by Lil Jon.

The packed house was already elated to see Lil Jon as he mingled with guests and posed for photos, but jaws dropped and whispers erupted when actor Danny Trejo, the villainous star of Desperado, Con Air and hundreds of other films arrived with his entourage. The 65-year-old legend looked spry, showing off his famous tattoos and posing with beautiful girls.

Other notable guests included cast members of upcoming film Ring Dog and Salt Lake event producer Nelson Madrill. Downstairs’ Sundance lineup returns on Monday with a birthday celebration for MTV icon Dave Navarro. Tickets available online.
