Park City, Worst Economy in Utah?
Park City’s sales tax numbers continue to be dismal — only slightly better than Vernal’s petroleum based economy, according to Bonneville Research. Revenue is down $203,508 from May 2008. Here are the top ten biggest losses in the state for May 2009:
- -32.6% Vernal
- -32.4% Park City
- -23.5% St. George
- -22.6% Bountiful
- -22.5% Salt Lake County (Uninc)
- -22.3% West Valley City
- -22.1% Pleasant Grove
- -20.3% Sandy
- -20.2% Brigham City
- -19.9% Provo
