Mountain Town Music (formerly Mountain Town Stages) put on a hot show for a cool evening by presenting Hot Buttered Rum — a highly coveted and incredibly talented blue grass band from San Francisco at a house concert on May 23. The stunning private residence was offered by High West Distillery’s Dave and Jane Perkins.

The gracious hosts provided a spectacular backdrop for the initial outdoor jam session and even accommodated further, by moving the band indoors for the second half of the show! Many local socialites were in attendance including, Jill and Richard Sheinberg, Kimball Arts Center’s Robin Rankin accompanied by her fiance, Karri Dell-Hayes, Brian Richards, Susan Strauss, EarComm’s Evan Russack, Mountain Town Music board member, Jamie Meyer and his wife Cathy Meyer and Gigaplex’s Hank Lewis. The High West Distillery Whiskey was the drink of choice, keeping guests warm and satisfied while they nibbled their way through the bountiful potluck spread.
